Stock Products


Stock products usually include rugs (8’ x 10’ and smaller), lamps, wall decor, fabrics, and other accessory items.

A stock product order is processed when received by internet or telephone.  An order confirmation is then sent detailing selection and lead time.  Payment will be processed at the time of order entry if item is in stock.


Lead time for most stock products is shipment within 1 – 4 weeks.  Contact us about lead times for specific items.  If a stock item is currently back ordered, we will notify you with an expected shipment date.  Your order t will not be processed until you decide if you would like to wait for a back ordered item.


Made-to-Order Products


Most of our furniture is made-to-order specifically for you.  This allows us to offer a wide range of dimensions, options, and finishes.

We collect a 50% deposit on the product(s) when the order is taken.  All furniture and custom orders are detailed in a formal sales order then faxed to our manufacturers.


Typical lead times for our made-to-order furniture is 4– 8weeks + transit time (5 -8 business days), depending on the product and the current production levels. Any target delivery dates must be clearly communicated at the time of the initial sales order, and agreed upon as part of the sales order confirmation process.










Our customer service group is available to answer any questions regarding order status or lead times.  Since each piece is custom-built, our lead times are as accurate as we can make them at the time of order entry.  However, individual production issues are difficult to predict.  We will do everything possible to let you know if something has caused an unexpected delay.


Upon delivery of your order to our warehouse you will be telephoned to set up a delivery time. The balance of the order, plus applicable shipping charges, will be collected at the time of delivery. Delivery personnel do not accept cash payments. Any cash payment must be delivered to the Sofa Creations showroom.

Returns & Refunds


Stock Products


Art, Rugs, Lighting and Accesories purchased in the showroom can be returned in 24 hours for a full refund. Any return after 24hours must be approved by the Owner of Sofa Creations. Some items are subject to a restocking fee which will be noted on your sales order.

Custom made-to-order products are subject to a  restocking charge if returned. We will do everything possible to work with you during the sales process to ensure a successful end result.  We will repair or exchange any custom order with a manufacturing defect or shipping damage.  If there is any problem with your order, please call or e-mail us.  We will work with you to fix the problem.


Floor Samples


Furniture purchased “AS IS” or from the clearance center must be accepted “AS IS;” please inspect it carefully before you purchase it. Sofa Creations is not responsible for damages you had not previously noticed. Because of its one of a kind nature, no refund or replacement will be feasible should your selection subsequently prove unsatisfactory.



Terms and Conditions

 Payment, Delivery, Shortages and Freight Damage

All orders require a 50% deposit with the order. A restocking charge of 30% of the original purchase price is due on all returned items. The balance is due upon delivery of the goods prior to unloading and is payable via telephone to the Sofa Creations showroom or by personal check/certified check to the driver at the delivery site. If more than one shipment is involved, payment is due on a per shipment basis in accordance with the above terms. Product shortages or freight damage must be noted on the Packing Slip copy that the driver returns to Sofa Creations. Failure to do so may void any claim of shipment shortages or freight damage.

 
We warrant our merchandise to be free of defects in material and workmanship. It is your responsibility to notify us of visible defects and variance within 14 days of discovering any defect. Normal wear and tear or damage from daily use is not warranted—for example, fabrics and leathers may naturally fade or deteriorate over time, and cushion cores may soften and lose shape. These are normal conditions are not considered manufacturers' defects and are not covered under our warranty.


Other exclusions include:Artwork, Clearance Items, Floor Samples, Any items (which may have “noted” structural defects, visible flaws or damage) are not warranted and sold “as-is”.

Upholstery: We warrant the frame and spring system for the ten year of the original purchaser. Standard cushion cores are covered for 10 years. 5 year warranty on Down-blend and Down-alternative; however this excludes compression of the crown, which is typical of use. Recliner, glider, swivel, and sleeper mechanisms, mattresses, air mattresses, electric motion mechanisms are covered at the showroom owner’s discretion after evaluation. Fabric and leather have a 1 year warranty, with the exception of items purchased under the "GUARDSMAN" extended fabric warranty.

Non-Furniture, Toss Pillows, accent tables, accessories, mirrors, artwork, rugs, and lighting are not covered under our warranty. Merchandise found to have a defect in material or workmanship must be exchanged within 30 days of purchase. Only Sunbrella® & Outdura® Fabrics (slipcovers, and cushion covers) are covered by the manufacturer warranty for clean-ability and against fading. Fabric that is fading under what we deem normal use and conditions will be replaced or repaired at Sofa Creations discretion. Replacements or repairs will be provided in the style, color or finish purchased; if discontinued, we will provide you with available options.

Our warranty is non-transferable and applies to residential (non-commercial) use only and is void if the furniture is used in what is considered to be a non-household setting, or misused, handled improperly, reupholstered or repaired by any resource other than us or our partners.

For warranty issues, we will repair or provide reasonably equivalent furniture as a replacement due to any product defects. Replacement furniture will be of equal value to the original purchase price. No cash refund is available and in no case shall we be liable for more than the purchase price of the furniture or for incidental or consequential damages. Proof of purchase is required to exchange merchandise or receive warranty service. 


Because warranties are designed to protect against manufacturing defects, the company that made the product, not Sofa Creations, provides the warranty. Sofa Creations will initiate the warranty claim on your behalf,unless the manufacturer is no longer represented in our showroom. In the event that Sofa Creations has removed a manufacturer from the sales floor, our staff will provide you with the information required to contact the manufacturer and submit a claim.


Keep your paperwork! The various manufacturers require proof of purchase before they can proceed with a customer's warranty claim and/or other adjustments to their accounts. For this reason, we advise you to keep your receipt and manufacturer's law labels (the white tags sewn onto the sofa). While many people remove these tags, we recommend that you leave them in place. Law labels have information on them such as model number and manufacture date, which are helpful in processing warranty claims, especially in the event that your paperwork is lost. 

Specialty case-goods and "special order" items not normally carried in the Sofa Creations showroom are ordered on a request only basis and subject to a 50% restocking fee.

 Visible defects and variance to order details must be brought to our attention within 14 days of delivery. Issues not presented within 14 days of delivery will be considered “acceptable” and will not be warranted.

Any item delivered with damage must be reported to us upon your receipt of the merchandise. Any damage upon delivery must be noted on the delivery receipt; damage not noted on the delivery receipt will be determined to be client damage, and not warranted.

An additional protection plan is available for purchase separately on custom upholstery.(non-slip covered furniture) It covers specific instances including accidents and incidents. For more information about this extended warranty plan, contact Sofa Creations.

THE WARRANTY GIVEN ON SOFA CREATIONS MERCHANDISE, IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY, AND NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR PURPOSES ARE MADE, AND ANY SUCH WARRANTIES ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION CONTAINED IN THIS WARRANTY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOFA CREATIONS HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES BASED ON NEGLIGENCE AND STRICT PRODUCT LIABILITY. THIS WARRANTY IS EXTENDED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER ALONE AND NO OTHERS, IS NON-TRANSFERABLE AND NON-ASSIGNABLE, AND MAY NOT BE ENLARGED IN ITS SCOPE BY ANY REPRESENTATIVE, SALESPERSON, AGENT OR OTHER EMPLOYEE OF SOFA CREATIONS. THIS PROVISION IS A MATERIAL TERM OF THIS WARRANTY AND ITS VIOLATION OR BREACH BY ORIGINAL PURCHASER OR ANY OF ORIGINAL PURCHASER’S AGENTS OR REPRESENTATIVES, SHALL VOID AND CANCEL THIS WARRANTY FOR ALL PURPOSES.
